How the ISRO CBT mock test works
Exam mode follows the pattern ISRO uses, so the mock feels like the real CBT:
| Exam | Duration | Marking |
|---|---|---|
| ISRO ICRB (Scientist/Engineer), Part A | 90 minutes | +1 correct, -1/3 wrong, 0 unattempted |
| ISRO ICRB, Part B (aptitude) | 30 minutes | 20 marks for up to 15 questions, no negative marking |
| ISRO Technical Assistant | 90 minutes | +1 correct, -0.33 wrong, 0 unattempted |
| GATE XE | 180 minutes | MCQ negative marking of 1/3 (1-mark) or 2/3 (2-mark); none for MSQ and NAT |
An exam in progress keeps its real end time, so a refresh or switching apps does not reset your clock. The start screen shows the exact marking scheme before you begin.

How to use mock tests well
- First attempt untimed for a few papers to learn the question style.
- Then switch to timed exam mode and respect the real duration.
- Review every wrong answer and note the concept behind it.
- Watch negative marking: in Part A each wrong answer costs 1/3 of a mark, so skip questions you cannot narrow down.
- Track subject-wise accuracy and revise the weakest subject first.
